The boys of Palmerston North Boys' High School honour a retiring school-teacher with a Haka (posted 2016)
A user in the comments section provided this translation:
Be prepared take hold,
Reach out,
We of Palmerston North Boys’ High School stand steadfast,
Within our Domain,
Standing firm,
Standing proud,
Standing with respect,
To uphold,
To uplift,
To uplift,
To uphold,
The prestige of our school,
Our aims are to seek knowledge,
And reach our goals and aspirations,
Seek the horizon of aspirations,
And draw near to it,
Those aspirations that are near, take them,
And it be known, yes, let it be known,
Let your adrenalin abound high above,
It is done!!!

Extreme Sheep Art, part real, part fake, part dance, explained here: https://advertisingandsocialmedia.wo...g/gerry-lewis/
Fun to watch, though. https://youtu.be/D2FX9rviEhw?list=FL...ofvRxb1wJr-RTw
Mesmerising Mass Sheep Herding https://youtu.be/tDQw21ntR64
New Zealand, filmed by aerial photographer and qualified pilot Tim Whittaker
I guess this is a kind of dance of which the dancers are unaware, and certainly not this perspective on it.

Two versions of Russian dance "Summer" - Igor Moiseyev Folk Dance Ensemble
Moiseyev's choreography captured the key elements of certain kinds of folk dances, and made them into witty ballet, such that the original remained clearly recognizable.
He died in Moscow on 2 November 2007 aged 101. https://youtu.be/aXaQpvfWe9Y https://youtu.be/MOzJDPRulvM
Who can choose? Not much more to do than to like the enthusiastic, fit-looking one in the white shirt.

In 2017, professional photographers Kelly Pratt & Ian Kreidich, husband and wife based in St Louis, decided to take pictures of ballet dancers with dogs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at2jMdxGNYg
Dancers and Dogs, Behind the Scenes – Part 1 https://youtu.be/VUj7N5Rimq8
Dancers and Dogs, The Super Collies
The project includes photographs of 100 dancers & 100 dogs in over 10 cities across the USA, taken over two and a half years. The hardcover book, DANCERS & DOGS, to be released on 19th November 2019, contains over 200 pages of photographs and behind-the-scenes stories about the project and some of the featured dancers and dogs.
There is also a wall calendar, and a facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/pg/dancersanddogs/posts/
A portion of the book’s proceeds will go to Stray Rescue, a St. Louis based non-profit organisation.

West Side Story, never get bored by it.
Oh, and I believe the Book of Mormon will have a lasting impact too in the musicals' history.
I couldn't find tickets for the shows held in Zurich!

@Doropfiz,
if you're into musicals I think you would really like The Book of Mormon. I wouldn't miss it. In the end we got two tickets from a colleague who bought them long in advance and couldn't go and it was so much fun. It's still played till the end of December and then till 5th of January and probably you can still find tickets. We loved it. |

I don't usually posts videos of children, but this piece captivated me, because of its energy and the fact that the brilliant choreography lets the girls show themselves as dynamic, intelligent, cooperative and confident. https://youtu.be/wo8dWds6BdI
Sirtaki Dance at Dancefest 2004 Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
Unfortunately, the video doesn't say who the group is.
It's not pure Sirtaki, but a pleasing mix, with a bit of Irish, and a bit of tap, a touch of Spanish. Lovely.
