Looks like we should be putting together an EF knit-a-thon..Who is up for it? 20cmx20cm knitted squares for a blanket?

I'd say medium..not too thin nor thick, recycle whatever. Color scheme: white, 50 shades of gray? What do you, guys, think ?

Ask you were.... I've found a skein of pale grey cotton. So yes, white and shades of grey!!
On the size front; are we talking cot blanket? If so 20x20cm might visually be a little big, how do you feel about 10 or at the most 15cms?

I think 20x20 is ok..we could do 5 squares x 4 squares in total. I am not sure how many I can do, Sky will do a few, let's see if anyone else chips in. I am sure my kid will do at least one. What should we put on it? Slammer's Famous EF Grandkid? I can start a separate thread later this week. Yay!
White - pale gray - gray..Fancy!

Hers was a mix of pastel pink and blue (Grandma didn't know her gender at the time). Well, it started as pink and blue, over time it just became grey. She still has it.

I'll have a look what I've got but I doubt if I've got any grey and I don't think I've got time to knit any but I could send the wool to somebody if I have some.

Pokemon and Pokemonsmum are giving us a nailbiter, just got the news that everything is fine, both are hanging in there, looks like it´s going to be induced if Pokemon has not made an appearance by Monday. As for me I have a wretched cold, with all the trimmings, bells and whistles, Pokemonsmum will not let me in the same country let alone hospital ward if I arrive like this...
I like the idea of a knitted EF blanket though, that would be so far out.

Ok you Sir, are now going to follow this instruction for my witches brew!! We can't have you in quarantine upon your arrival!!
You are going to make now a 2 liter herbal concotion of EE's witches brew :
Rosehip and lime blossom tea in equal amounts
1 cinnamon stalk ,broken up in pieces
2-3 cloves
1 Lemon and 1 orange, washed ad cut in slices
fresh ginger if you have, about a 2cm piece, cut up roughly
All those ingredients have a healing effect in cases of colds and sniffles.
Bring in a large pot water to a boil, then add all the above ingredients and reduce heat, let simmer for about 5 minutes.
Set aside to cool down and sweeten to taste with honey.
Sieve into a cup (but let the ingredients sit in concotion) and DRINK!! loads and loads of it.
Get well soon!

Strangely enough I have something similar, my grandmothers recipe, just without the cloves, but with honey and two fingers of rum in a glass, little finger and forefinger, then off to bed under a minimum of a half ton of blankets. It doesn´t make the cold go away but you don´t care after two of them whammies.

Lucky you said 'blended' and not Single Malt or I'd have had your guts for garters about such a sacrilege :P
But slammer, Jag has a really good idea, it'll make a kind of Hot Toddy with added legal, herbal benefits |

First sign of a cold I make a hot toddy, if it's for others just water, honey, lemon and scotch. I like to boil some cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg with the water.
That, a couple of aspirin, and a thick layer of blankets, and I've usually sweated it out by morning. It may not be scientific, but it is rather an enjoyable way of being unscientific.
