Argh! That pic looks like chunky mushroom soup on a fishcake. Gravy is brown, people, brown! And not lumpy.

Ginger biscuits are definitely best dunked. Mind you slurping tea through a kit kat finger is quite enjoyable.

That cat puke ain't that bad, actually. The yank biscuits neither, but if I am dunking anything aside of bread in soup, it will be cookies. Or tiny marshmellows in mint hot chocolate. I actually got salty caramel hot chocolate not long ago, you can dip whatever in it and it will be amazing.

I have never voluntarily dunked anything in either tea, or coffee. Hot chocolate deserves marshmallows, and a soup without bread isn't really a proper soup.

But either way, it's hardly grounds for divorce, or even marriage counselling.

Yes but then the lumps are onion etc, the actual gravy is not inherently lumpy.

It's some kind of weird North American thing they call gravy which is actually some dubious looking sausage stuff in a white sauce. Nothing like the actual rich brown onion gravy that we Brits would eat with sausages.
