Re: Where to go when you need cheering up

Hell, I bought my wife a cheap-ass record/CD/radio.

Needless to say, she's dug out 50 years of 45s!

DiscoDuck, anyone?

Or perhaps a first pressing of "Je t'aime... moi non plus"? (ironically by Jane Birkin 'avec Serge Gainsbourg')

Re: Where to go when you need cheering up

I just went to the fridge. A nice big turkey sandwich, with lots of salt and mayo cheered me up considerably.

Yes, I pretended that I was Serge.

Of course, it was their spawn of this song who stared in Nymphomaniac.

Lol. That was not bad. I wouldn't have thought it screened in CH?

Where to go when I need to cheer up. My piano. An art gallery. And Cracker Barrel for some fried okra and turnip greens. And papers that I need to process for my diss.
