A great loss. I hope we'll get his new album this year after all.

Re: RIP Chuck Berry

He went to prison twice, first in the 1960's for sex with a minor, again in 1979 for tax evasion and was sued for having cctv in the ladies toilets of his restaurants. He was a repellent man.

Apparantly he went to jail for it, so it's done.

However I never love the artists, I love their music. So I usually don't know anything about them (your news was news too but it's none of my business, imo).
I liked his music and the many friends who covered him made sure I connect a lot of wonderful memories with his songs.
The guy is dead. RIP.

All the old rock and rollers seem to have been filth wizards.

I wonder what was wrong with them?

Re: RIP Chuck Berry

Every star keeps their proverbial "skeletons in the closet".
Not the easiest profession to keep crowds happy, keep oneself away from paparazzi, pressure, hype and constantly being in a centre of attention. They all are a special breed that sacrificed their normal life to art.

Not my place to judge.

RIP

Filth wizards? Seriously. Probably nothing, just access and imperfection. Today, people have PR and handlers.
