Herr Grabher, you may no longer use your last name

Apparently a Canadian with the last name Grabher, has to give up his personalized license plates he's had for 25 years because there was one single complaint

Re: Herr Grabher, you may no longer use your last name

Ridiculous & over the top.

I worked with Bernard Fick in Munich, & nobody made him change his name.

He shouldn't take this decision without an appeal.

I am not very happy with Nova Scotia, it sounds like Latin. Google translates Nova Scotia into English as New Brunswick.

The latin meaning of Nova Scotia is actually "grab her"

Re: Herr Grabher, you may no longer use your last name

Sigh. Scotian here.

This does not surprise me on so many different levels.

However, in honour of Dartmouth and it's Grabhers, I give you my favourite Dartmouth Clothing Company design:

This is probably only funny to Maritimers.

EDIT - it's a good thing we changed our tourism posters a few years back
