Boy Wonder has become a little unpopular
Re: Absinthe

Even though absinthe contains a fair share of healthy herbs and even though it is often recommended as a daily food supplement, be aware, it also contains traces of alcohol. Alcohol can cause allergic reactions in some individuals with symptoms such as dissiness, hightened propensity for dancing and increased eloquence. Use with caution.

Re: Absinthe

You need to go to Fleurier which is near to Neuchatel. All the shops seem to have some reference to Absinthe. I do not know what the connection is but perhaps they make it there

Traces of alcohol? The absinthe bottle I've got is 85% alcohol by volume...

At the same time though, modern day manufacturers have cut right back on the thujone (active ingredient) content, so you don't get the yellow glow any more... the alcohol strength has more impact than the thujones.

There are still a few original recipe moonshine absinthe makers up in them thar hills.

Re: Absinthe

I wouldn't worry too much, unless it "glows" it's probably just a knock-off of the old thujone variety. On the other hand, if it does glow, you should indeed be worried and get rid of it asap, I could help with that.
