Although I have been here for more then ten years and love the place, keeping gainfully employeed is really starting to be a pain in the a**e and I starting to think about moving to somewhere where there won't be a language "problems". Started in the French part, but was forced to move to the German part a few years back.
Canada although the tax is very high looks like a good move if possible. Anybody reading this any suggestions as to where you go after the good life en Suisse.

I've lived here, UK, Canada (East Coast) and the USA (West Coast). If you've enjoyed Switzerland you'll probably appreciate Canada. The open spaces, the respect for the environment but freedom as an individual. Federal tax rates have come down in the last couple of years. The Government is running a surplus because of the revenues from natural resources but you'll also need to consider the additional bite of provincial taxes. Consider BC - beautiful place to live, laid back but a vibrant economy.
