When did they build the new store? Went there today and it's all been transformed. Old building gone, new car park where the old building was and new building further back. When we went through in April there was nothing like that happening?

They started the work last summer and it has been ongoing since then.
I’m not sure how you could have missed it.

There will be a second phase starting next year with another new building, not sure what that one will be used for.

It has been in the pipeline for a few years but was opposed by Hyper U, their biggest rival in Pontarlier.

Me neither since we do pop over every now and then. Stop at the petrol station on the way back from the UK for fuel so must have been there at least twice just for that. Weird. Was much visible from the road? All we could think of was they built it behind the old building so it wasn't noticed as much.

They built the new building first and then demolished the old one but it was pretty obvious that extensive work was going on.
We don’t shop in Pontarlier any more but pass through quite often on our way to other places and noticed the work.
