Well, it's happening. Since October 8th the autonomous taxis are accessible to the public around Phoenix in the US. The funny thing is that Tesla promised robotaxis before the end of 2020, but the one that effectively delivered was Google's Waymo.

Watch 1+ hour video of the robot doing its thing. I got a bit worried when it left the residential streets and joined a a divided road with vehicles passing at 70-80 km/h. Nothing bad happened beyond the
robot flooring the pedal =)
Mixed feelings about this, on one hand it's cool to get a robotaxi home after a bar night. On the other hand, driving is so much fun. I don't want to be replaced by a robot

Maybe I'm making drama and the worst can happen is that my insurance premium will be higher than the robot's premium. I can live with that
