| It is a matter of mindset. Those aren't sharks. They are normal life happenings and shinenigans. | |

Sometimes (and not only related to money) the dark things are
not merely normal life happenings, but
are just that: sharks.
Lives, like ships, that show warning signs of sinking, can get back onto an even keel, or sail into a safe harbour, or get repairs on a dry dock, or be decommissioned. But that's mostly possible only once the leaks, or the overload, are acknowledged for what they truly are. To use a different illustration: excessive drinking can bring a life down and has a high potential to tear other lives apart. The alcoholic is unlikely to improve things less they first name the darkness honestly as a serious problem that needs facing.
