This is great for sap..if you need some more today. It was great for running today, or whatever, doing arts, creating anything. There are bits where the crazy violin goes slightly off tune, you might need just a bit more wine for those. The vid is intense.
Enjoy.

All the places I have been, all the things I have done and seen, washed away like tears in the rain.

| | Re: The hereby jeebies | Quote: | | | | Here comes one of these pragmatic inputs people don't really want to hear ....
What I know about you from your EF presence you left Malta because you wanted to see you grandchild more often in Germany. And it looked like fate agreed, you found a job ... lost it yet found an other one. But then fate kind of took off to take care of someone else while you are without job in a far too little home to feel comfortable in. So sure, you reminisce, cling to things from long ago and wonder where the good times have gone. | | | | |
Well, I´ll be starting on Monday and actually it´s two of them carpet crawlers now, No2, a Grandson arrived last Monday.
I don´t think that early retirement is possible, for one I doubt that there is enough money to live comfortable, especially in Germany where there is an increasing trend for pensioners to receive supplementary benefits just to get by. And by the time I have everything together from all the countries I have lived in I will have reached the Rentenalter.
I don´t know why this wish for things that I had at one point is becoming so strong now, never used to be. If I were to be metaphysical I would say that perhaps as you get older and you feel your body deteriorating to it´s inevitable outcome, you get the urge to cling to things that held some importance to you when you were younger perhaps as a subconscious attempt to regain some of that youth back.
Or it´s early onset Alzheimers.

At one point I think that people, as they age, just give in regarding their own thoughts and dreams and they concentrate on helping the young build theirs?
You’ve got an important grandpa role now |

You’ve got an important grandpa role now | | | | | Yeeeeeah! Mummy and Daddy are not too sure about that, Granddaughter has lost her fear over Granddaddy´s motorbike, how the lights work, which button to press for the horn, especially which button to press for the horn, she knows to turn the ignition key and which button is used to start the engine, if Granddaddy were to be so stupid as to leave it unattended in neutral.
She blew me away the other day by singing the dirty version of "Von den blauen Bergen kommen wir" you know, the one they learn in Kindergarten. Then she took a bow... Which made me crack up.
And she puts the side stand of her bicycle down with her heel, just like Granddad does on his Honda.
