Somewhere to lose yourself ....

Came across this great site : Old Picture, which has a wide selection of photo tints, daguerrotypes, photographs etc, covering the globe ... couple of personal favourites of mine :

Hamburg - circa 1890

Photochrome - 1895

enjoy

Re: Somewhere to lose yourself ....

The site has quite a few pictures of Switzerland.

Two colour photochrome prints of Zurich views from the end of the 19th century (there are many more):

From Utoquay, Zurich

The Limmatquay, with Polytechnic, Zurich

Brilliant, thank you very much. On the downside I've just spent 25 minutes looking through there when I could have been ironing. Heyho!
