Erm... I know a guy (who I love dearly), who correct my grammatical error (misuse of commas) in a love letter to him...

In fact his pedantic attitude to grammar and the use or abuse of a language resulted in me taking out a red pen (his to be precise) and correcting a letter I'd received from a lawyer during a legal dispute and led me to take German writing classes again!

Following on from Dougal's thread (which I can't seem to find so MOD's please feel free to tag this to his thread - sorry I searched for ages) the BBC have compiled another list from people who have too much time and are whinging about incorrect use of English:
