After the trend of going paperless I think I get more paper stuff now than I did before. I think coronavirus has made several places disregard their customers' wishes and start sending out paper marketing.

Having said that, I haven't had much actual unaddressed junk mail or newspapers for a while.

I felt the same - it’s also the only paper post (except for taxes) that I receive. In the meantime, I’ve found it quite a relaxing (and successful) way to read while I poo in the morning, and so now always eagerly await the next distribution. I remove the front/back cover before reading, and then disinfect.

You poo only on Tuesdays? That’s remarkable.
