Morning everyone

I became a coop supercard member last year and still collect the points during shopping. Whether I subscribed to this by mistake or every supercard members receives their newspaper or not i just don't know.
What I do know is i'm so sick of going to my postbox and seeing this coop paper and then having to recycle them.

Does any know how to unsubscribe to receiving the newspaper only? I've checked the coop site and coop zeitungen link but can't see anything.

Monday is Coop and Tuesday Migros....

I did this with Migros and Coop. There is a number in the magazine you can call to ask then to Cancel it.

I believe that there is a number one can call to report the spam. At least on my Kein Reklam Bitte sticker there is a number. Not that I would actually do it though.

At least in the UK they had the decency to supply free-mail envelopes to stuff full of all the spam and send back (loose change is always good to send the return postage fees up)

At one point I received a mailing from Migros with a postcard, which offered cancellation of the newspaper service.

We did this online a week or so ago for both Coop and Migros. I'm trying to find the links...I'll try to post them later. Both stopped within a week.

To cancel the Coop newspaper go to the following link and fill out the form:

FYI - You'll need a copy of each of the papers in order to unsubscribe as you need your customer off the mailling label to fill out the on-line form.

You don't actually need a "copy" of the paper to unsubscribe, just your customer number (Mitgliedsnummer) which is located on the label. The number can also be found on your Coop Supercard or your Migros' Cumulus card. Another place to find the number would be on any mail Coop or Migros might have sent you. And if you still can't locate the number.. well, maybe you're not even a member..

Not quite true for Coop...

Simple translation: You can find your Customer Number on the upper right of your Coop newspaper (not on your Supercard!).

Also, do you save the labels for some reason and not the whole paper?

That's funny.. I just double checked and mine does. Maybe only newer cards don't have the number on them any more? The one I have in my wallet must be at least 7 or 8 years old by now.

A bit of a necro-post, but thanks for bumping it. I've been moaning about the Coop paper for ages and now I cancelled it (I hope).

We also get it every week but rarely read it.
I see it as my sponsorship for the old paper industry.
