When you've 30 billion to spend, an automatic parachute remover is no hassle...

I wonder if perhaps some of the footage isn't genuine - that they needed to make it more "spectacular", and couldn't get real footage as it happened?
Maybe NASA modified their own pictures on purpose to make the details more visible to a layman ! That could be an explanation too. But why don't they just say so. It's not a big deal.

Maybe some sort of robot brought back the rocks ?

The mirrors convinced me that it could be true. The strange thing is, that there is not much visual proof on this neither.

Can parachutes actually function, where there is supposed to be no atmosphere ?

Re: Moonlanding a hoax ?

moon gravity is 15% of the earth's pull. So mirrors will simply float gently down to the surface

Re: Moonlanding a hoax ?

If we concentrate on the footage in the video it leaves us still a lot of things unexplained.

There's no wind on the moon right ?

So why the heck did that flag wave ?

You must admit that there is no scientific or historical fact related explanation on this one.

Andres, I took the time to review your video (which took quite some time), but before you say that there is no rebuttle on the flag issue you really ought to take the time to visit the link I posted in post #4 above and type "flag" into the search box. You'll find that there is a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Maybe Rammstein has the right idea about how that went....

Re: Moonlanding a hoax ?

Yes well they plan to build a moonbase in 2020. My questions won't be answered until then, hence I better concentrate on something else. I don't understand much about science (for now). I mostly believe what I see. However thanks to Richard I don't support the conspiracy no more.

Moon landings - fake or real?

Did Neil and Buzz walk on the moon?

Discuss - but if you have a viewpoint, back it up with good sources.

I would be delighted to disprove this global conspiracy, but I am too busy building a new tin foil hat .....

Re: Moon landings - fake or real?

The landing was not faked but it might be that the better quality pictures were doctored due to poor quality or even made up but that's only a bone to throw to the conspiracy theorists, as if the might of the KGB would not have made the world aware if anything of such scale had been an hoax...

Lob why don't you start a thread about the 9-11 conspiracy. They have some interesting footage on youtube.
