It will be a bare boat

Sailing experiene: mine 1x, his more than 10 years.

Say...where did you husband get his Hochseeschein from?

I am interested in learning sailing myself. Went over to Konstanz last weekend...costs something like 650 Euros for 10 classes and the exam to get the lake license (with which one could rent boats).

...or are there cheaper options someplace else?

Could you feed us a little more info? Would you be cruising / blue water / racing? Split costs, I presume? Two's company, three's a party etc?
