Glasgow restaurant tips

Hello everyone. Heading for Glasgow on Wednesday with friends and was wondering whether anyone can suggest good places to eat (the group includes a veggie, people not familiar with UK food...and a lover of all things Indian).
Ta!

Try the Rawalpindi Tandoori at Sauchiehall Street, Centrally located and my favorite Indian restaurant in Glasgow. Don't miss their peshwari naan bread, is super great! Their wine selection is also very decent.

Hope you enjoy it!

Re: Glasgow restaurant tips

For Indian you should really try Mother India - the best Indian food I have ever eaten and I go whenever I can.

For Italian, Frateli Sarti in Sauchiehal Street or as a second best Antipasti in Byres Road

Scottish either Stravaigin or the more casual Stravaigin Too.

Brel, if it still there is a great Belgian restaurant with the advantage of being in the cool Ashton Lane where it is just over the road from the famous Ubiquitous Chip.

That'smy list of faves. Have a good trip.

All good recommendations above.

However, if you really want the best Indian you'll ever have, and a great venue, check out the Ashoka Flame restaurant - best in Britain!
