What happens when Dionne Warwick's little boy and Miley Cyrus' daddy (didn't he used to be somebody?) hang out together ...

Re: Song of the day

Nice. Nice nice.

Ok, so I have this enigmatic girl on tonight...dreamy and full of heart and soul. Beat. One does not need much noise for that.

She is a poet.
Good to stroke the bass strings to, it needs the grounding...Btw, how are the callouses doing, I love mine. Like kids love their scratches.

Re: Song of the day

Re. the Daughter bit... from the accent she sounded very nordic / icelandic, for a moment reminded me of Emiliana Torrini.
Nice stuff, as you say - dreamy and well done.
No callouses here for the time being.... I'm tripping out in more electronic kind of stuff. Just plug in my headphones into the laptop, program some sequences and some synth patches and I'm a happy fella. Don't ask me why. Things come & go in cycles I suppose
Cheers!

P.

Re: Song of the day

Speaking of Islandic, I have had this on every single hike to work past few weeks..and practiced bass to it, it is so nicely and positively wall ish. Wash over you beat, easy to break into solid notes, grounding as well..Love the accent, as well, Island kicks ass, I always thought, ever since the Sugarcubes. The beat is awesome. Syncopize, man, syncopize...

I do get the synch and electro frenzy. Though I need to feel music, callouses help..feel it, see it. Synesthesia is a delightful and obsessive human fault. Or a skill.
