Well, since the flavor seems to be Blast-from-the-past let me challenge you with some fine & fonky from Little Feat... IMHO juicier, edgier and "on" than the aforementioned quartet of seasoned (and maybe a bit jaded?) über-pros...

Re: Song of the day

@Uncle GroOve

Nice sound. Like it and yes I am at the moment a bit in the mood of "Blast-from-the-past". Last week was a bit more in the mood for newer sounds and so I love to change the direction when ever I feel so. Was in hope that may somebody else comes up with some nice "Blast from the past" music. Thanks to do so. About the four guys: Yes, they are no more the newest but still fine to listen to like Kurty with his banger. Have not heard them for quit a while, so posted that in case some others may love to listen to. As we are with "Blast of the past" an other one:

Gangster Of Love - Johnny 'Guitar' Watson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-SPXjpWJR0

Guess to hear more from you and have a nice day.

@Patxi

Lol, tough story in the video. Made me laughing. Have seen here/the groupe before. Guess most would not have any idea that they have formed in South Africa.

Here a group from Northern Europe: Mopedbart

Wish you a most pleasant weekend / Mt

Re: Song of the day

@Carrie

Thanks for your post. One of the old girly groups you showed.

Here an other one of my past favorite tracks from an other music genre. Had the chance many years ago to listen to that when some people tested there sound system in the train station from Zurich for one of the coming "Street Parade events". Was there by chance, as I came back from a business trip. I do not know how many houndert or even thousand Watts they had on what they build up on boxes, but it was just a blast. Here we go :

Robert Miles-Children (Dream Version): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsH6UPqUgqk

Will post some Hard Rock music coming week.

Re: Song of the day

@Mountain tree: Next week is a little too futuristic. I cannot wait. I am in the mood for Rock-n-Roll on a Sunday! What are the neighbors going to think now?

Re: Song of the day

@Carrie

In case your neighbors are no more sure that you are even alive any more, here some thing to make them known that you still do so. Here a good oldie:

Led Zeppelin - Rock And Roll: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WzG64syKHA

The next one is only a few years old:

Wolfmother - Joker and the Thief: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySjXFjLTagQ

@ Greenmount

Love here. My favorite song from here I love to listen to:

Lana Del Rey - Ride: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py_-3di1yx0

Re: Song of the day

An other relaxing one in between the next one:

Adrian von Ziegler - Enlighten my Soul: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaKhnmlnROk

By the way: The above post points a bit more in the direction of psychedelia rock music and less into the direction of real "Hard Rock" music. Hope you still enjoyed it. Friday will be again pure "H'R" music.

Re: Song of the day

Last post from my side on the weeks "H'R" and rock music topic, which I could scratch only a bit on the surface. As mentioned in the other post: Today is again pure, straight Hard Rock. Here we go:

BLUES PILLS - Devil Man (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6p2R8jaUW0

ORCHID - Mouths Of Madness (OFFICIAL VIDEO) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvtAMFhbuRA

Chickenfoot - Sexy Little Thing : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2X23yoneWg

Have a nice, coming weekend and I hope you enjoyed the little excursion into that topic. / Mt
