Interesting Group. Thanks. I haven't heard of them before. How did you get to hear them?

I looked at some of their other stuff. They remind me somewhat of early Pink Floyd with their experimental style.

They also did the Soundtrack to a film called "Friday Night Lights" about a high school American Football team in Texas during the late 80's. I believe the TV show of the same name is based on the same story, but I've never watched it, so cant say. They have some great tunes.

Your Hand In Mine

All their albums are good, but the Friday night lights soundtrack is a little easier to listen to if you're not familiar with them, because the tracks are generally 3-4minutes, as opposed to the 8-12min tracks on their studio albums...

Not a problem, Sada. If you're into that, you may also enjoy

God Is An Astronaut - Infinite Horizons

And

Boards of Canada - Dayvaan Cowboy

God is an Astronaut are a little heavier than Explosions in the Sky, but their videos are fairly plain...
Dayvaan Cowboy is a fantastic tune with a brilliant video...

Hope you like...

Sada, Thanks for the info on Explosions in the Sky
Sharkey, thanks for the extra link. I have been listening to several of their tracks and am really getting into them.

Some very interesting stuff. Having grown up on Genesis, Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield and Yes, the longer studio tracks go down well.

Hurt - Johnny Cash

Video by Mark Romanek

Just a little note. The footage of June Carter Cash standing on the stairwell was recorded candidly. As it turned out, she had discovered just a few days prior to filming that she was dying, but she hadn't told JC when this was filmed...
