Wow, nice. She was a class, wasn't she..She sang with such a gusto, makes me want to inhale her music with every cell. It's fun to sing with her.

Re: Song of the day

Yma Sumac was fully nuts. Played very infrequently and very loud has the desired effect.

Sometimes when this comes on the radio in the car I just crank up the volume and start seat dancing! OK I'm weird, but life is short!

Raphael Saadiq - 100 yard dash. The former Tony! Toni! Toné! star's latest album is top notch from start to finish. If you like 70's soul, R&B, dance music or just something to get the heart pumping when you are out for a jog, I would check him out!

Re: Song of the day

Is it Sunday again?

I will never forget how disappointed I was when I found out the real meaning of this song, I always thought it was the opposite. Anyway, it's in French so doesn't matter, just lay the eyes back and...

Re: Song of the day

This song Possibility sung by Lykke Li is exactly the kind of melancholic melody I just adore to listen to sometimes.
So quiet & gentle & perfect. So soothing too.
