Re: Song of the day

An excellent Homage to Jean Michel Jarre using vintage equipment... definitely one for the purists.

Re: Song of the day

«Tu gitana» of Zeca Afonso performed by Luar na Lubre

Tu gitana que adivinhas
me lo digas pues no lo se
si saldré desta aventura
o si nela moriré.

O si nela perco la vida
O si nela triunfare
Tu gitana que adivinhas
me lo digas pues no lo se.

Shouldn't that have been in 'Cover of the Day'?

This is the original

Re: Song of the day

This one's a few years old but I've been busy and not paying attention. I saw Sonic Youth a couple of weeks ago and decided to listen to some of their solo efforts. This is off Thurston Moore's "Trees Outside the Academy". Well worth checking out and a bit more toned down than Sonic Youth.

Good stuff there, Mr Purple!

This stuff, in contrast, will make you feel your age:

... not that that's such a bad thing with music as mellow as this...

Re: Song of the day

I'm rocking to this tune at the moment \m/ >_< \m/

Right now, I'm really quite attached to the electro industrial/aggrotech/hellectro/terror ebm styles with militant, pessimistic or explicit lyrics

But it makes me go WILD and I'm able to work at twice the speed
