Re: Song of the day

Haven't posted in this thread for a while but thought this video deserved to be here!

It's some friends of mine from Vevey with the "80s pop sensation" Mystery Vintage.

Very funny. There are loads of vids on vimeo if you want to find out more!

(vid is not on youtube so you'll have to open the link, sorry)

The ex-drummer of Supertramp stayed at my house when I was a a preteen, he used to drum constantly with his knife and fork waiting for his food to be served, which drove my mum nuts. He was so hyper. I got on with him fine he came shopping with me and bought me s jumper for my birthday.

Re: Song of the day

Ivor Novello award winners announced this lunchtime, might as well see what they sound like then...

Best Album - Sunny Side Up, written by Paolo Nutini

Best Song Musically and Lyrically - The Fear, written and performed by Lily Allen

And saving the best for last (IMO)...Best Contemporary Song - Daniel, written by Natasha Khan, performed by Bat For Lashes

I know this last one is already posted, but its sheer awesomeness warrants another helping

Special congratulations to Bat for Lashes. Well deserved after losing out on previous Ivor Novellos and Brits.
