Song of the day

Fresh off the press a year ago today, and still a real earworm

Was that meant as a 9 11 tribute or was it just a coincidence
Yes, in fact I posted it because it gives a perspective from the nineties, I was very surprised with myself because I could not remember a single bit from this video-clip and when I found it I thought it was a good way of remembering all the victims, the survivors and the WTC.
I thought we could remember them but still with a beautiful image, as things were before, I believe memories should also be made of this.

Beautifully intense song by a beautifully intense band:

Snow Patrol feat. Martha Wainwright - Set fire to the third bar

Re: Song of the day

If you like really good melodic songs with an element of melancholy, try Blackfield:

Re: Song of the day

It seems to be quite a week for anniversaries. Jimi Hendrix passed away 40 years ago today.

Here he is as Lulu's guest. (How come she hardly looks any older now?)

You got me thinking of oldies that I haven't heard for ages. This one came to mind.

Moonlight Shadow by Maggie Reilly, featuring Mike Oldfield
