So of the holy trifecta, it's just the iPhone that is outstanding. We have the 2.0 firmware available for download and the app store is allegedly running. Also, mobileme is going on line soon as well. http://www.macrumors.com/iphone/ |

I'm starting to feel completely underwhelmed by the whole experience.

I just got an e-mail from Orange with a link to order one. Unfortunately, I cannot use it and still keep my orangeclick number. The option isn't included.

Now I don't know whether my card has been debited or not. Anyone else?

That's par for the course, as far as the whole Orange iPhone saga is concerned. |

No. I got a page appear for a fraction of a second and then it went to the error page. On inspection, the disappearing page had a 'confirm this transaction' button on it .
Still not managed to get any further.
Edit: Tried again and got a 'thank you for your order' page. Might end up with 2 of the darned things now - ha ha!
More Edit: Yes, both went through, I have been charged twice. And Orange will cancel the other. Delivery might be as much as 3 weeks they said.

Since we all got the link at the same time, maybe it's safe to assume that everyone who hadn't ordered yet did?
No surprise if the ensuing torrent of orders crashed the server, considering how stable it was yesterday.

Also, try this - go to the error page, and then click your "Back" button twice in succession, but on the second click hold it, don't release. On my machine, that freezes the SaferPay page for as long as the button is held down, and I can see that that it is a payment confirmation page, with a receipt number and so on. That looks a bit more hopeful...

Cheers

Cheers | | | | | According to customer support, it has to be sorted out in an Orange shop.
I'm going to pop round the one on Löwenstrasse today after work with a print-out of the e-mail, and see if that gets me anywhere.

But I found one strange thing...that there is no prepaid plan @http://microsite.orange.ch/index_f2.php#buy_en
And there is also an option of using L permit as Identity card type...but as far as I have heard that I cant get a postpaid contract with my L permit...I need to have atleast a B/C permit...
Can anyone please tell me if I can get the postpaid plans with L permit??
I am interested in getting an optima30 or any other plan @orange/swisscom with 1GB data plan.
Thanks.
-vib.

update: "Fabio" called me back asking about why they were going to send me an iPhone all of a sudden.
I explained the shop thing and now he said I *might* get one tomorrow, but he couldn't guarantee it, and not to go to the shop as they will post one to me.
I would have thought they would have them in the post by now, but we'll see.
I didn't expect them to hunt me down like a dawg.
