| | Re: Hotmail goes POP | Quote: | | | | | Are you running the latest version of the iphone firmware 2.2.1? | | | | | Er no, my iphone is jailbroken, so still running 2.2. | Quote: | | | | | It is also worth noting that POP3 has not been rolled out to Hotmail users worldwide, just those in the UK, Canada, Australia, France, Japan, Spain, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. | | | | | I just checked and it's registered to Switzerland. I suppose I could easily change this (back) to UK though. I'll wait until the 2.2.1 jailbreak comes out before doing anything though.

I did mine a couple of weeks ago with the latest itunes version.

What I meant to say was that I'll wait until 2.3 comes out and is jailbroken before going through the hassle of updating. The 2.2.1 update doesn't seem worth the hassle, though to have Hotmail access may change my mind.

Thanks Castro
I changed my location to UK a couple of days ago. First it didn't work and just now, on Castro's prompt, I tried again.
It works!

Quit the iPod app and make sure it says "Ringer" while turning the volume up or down.

I guess it would have helped had Apple included an instruction manual... not that I would have bothered to read it |
