Anyone know any apps that use push notifications?

Erm, my 3.0 started downloading at 19:29 and I've been copy pasting for a while now
If for some reason you aren't going to download 3.0 (ten dollars...) then EasyWriter works very well for landscape keyboard emails.

I know this seems to be asking too much of apple, but i don`t suppose that 3.0 happens to sync one`s to do list from ical, does it?
Up until now, this seems to me to have been one of those omissions that is glaring in nature.

Overall 3.0 is a very worthwhile upgrade and I'm particularly pleased with the clip n paste feature.
If you're feeling particularly brave you can go ahead and enable USB/bluetooth tethering (i.e. use your iphone as a 3G modem). Go to this website and enter your email address and select your network settings and a config file will be emailed to you. Open the email up and voila... tethering should now be enabled in phone settings. It works like a charm on Orange CH, however I have noticed that my voicemail button no longer works, I have to dial my own number to get to my VM. I'm sure its an easy fix, but too tired to play anymore |

I actually thought my iPhone had been turned into a brick when I tried to update earlier today. Man... there was some sweating, adrenaline and possibly some difficult to explain spotting going on for about an hour.
I did a sync then checked for the update, which started fine... I walked away and when I came back everything was all locked up... baaahhh!
Well, in the end, the update went through okay but only after a forced restart of the iPhone. If I had even suspected there would have been a problem I would have waited to update until July as I'm going to be traveling and relying on the iPhone to RDC back to my office desktop. Phwew...
