UBS Online Banking

So here is my little annoyance of the last few weeks.

I'm not sure how many people have been affected by this but have you noticed how many times the online banking service has been down recently? Like right now for example!

I would check my account maybe once a day and can count now about 20 times in the last few weeks where i've been unable to access my account.

Anybody else experience this?

Re: UBS Online Banking

No, it was slow and I had to refresh the screen twice, but I'm on to UBS now.
And I've always been able to get on.

Can't say I've noticed. But then I try not to check my accounts too often. It's way too depressing.

I can't say that I've ever had the problem, but then I only access the account about one a month or may be less. Can't imagine why I want to do it every day!

Re: UBS Online Banking

Funny, that...CS has had announcements on Direct Net that it is also down periodically over the last two weeks. Collusion? Conspiracy theorists, please comment!

Re: UBS Online Banking

Switch to PostFinance. Never down except pre-announced weekend maintenance/update about once a quarter.

Re: UBS Online Banking

Just resurrecting this thread to vent my frustration on UBS' CSV statement download functionality.

Normally most CSV downloads can be formatted in legible order into neat columns by converting the data by using "text to column", but the data UBS provides is not consistent on every rows and therefore doing a mass formatting is out of the question.

It seems PostFinance's CSV downloads are far more Excel friendly than UBS and I expected a lot of functionality from UBS and the army of IT experts they employ in CH and abroad.

How do you have your settings on your computer/in Excel? I have an issue with their downloads because of my setting in numbers (100,00 instead of 100.00)
