Re: In IT for 20 years

Waddya mean there is life outside IT ?

That's ridiculous, I just Googled it on my tablet, seems the Real World is an Urban Myth, at least according to the Urban Dictionary.

I think the Humans have invaded the forum and are trying to fool us Bots.

Re: In IT for 20 years

Actually I am in the same situation with 25 years in IT.
I was recently wacked after 13 years with a large corporate
financial institution.
So am already out and really considering what to do next.
Just cannot sit at the desk staring at the computor monitor
anymore.Drives me nuts.
Am sort of looking at some kind of online share trading to make
a living.Have had some luck to the tune of 80 000 sFr. recently
in share trading profits.Tax free in Switzerland which makes it just beautifull. Obviously risky but you have to do some homework.

Is ‘this’ history or its simulation? More precisely: is ‘this’ a contemporary biological (brain-based) simulation, or a reconstructed, artificial memory, run on a technological substrate ‘in the future’?
