Re: Movie recommendations

Stumbled across an unknown (to me!) gem over the weekend, Sing Street (2016), brought back great memories of my youth, rated 8 on IMDb and 96% on Rotten Toms.

Re: Movie recommendations

Saw John Wick Chapter 2 over the weekend and really enjoyed it. So much better than the first movie. Particularly good seeing Fishburne and Reeves together again with a funny play on words re the Matrix movies.

And another reunion for the brilliant Peter Stormare and Reeves, loved them both in the Constantine movie - Stormare was the best devil ever in that film.

Keanu Reeves is on top form. Great to see him in a quality movie again.

Re: Movie recommendations

So we waltz in the 1st thing open at a local (magnificent) movie festival, to be absolutely floored by a series of Robert Greene short documentaries. Amazingly potent, in such a short form. I am completely sold. Scheduled another, healthy intense dose with him present this time. And will definitely fish out his feature films. Wow.

Re: Movie recommendations

(Not a movie but...) Binged on the new Lost in Space series on Netflix this weekend. Quite cool. Its definitely is a massive improvement on the 1998 movie. I found it quite good. Very gripping and intense moments. I couldn't stop watching it. Definitely recommended.
