Re: Movie recommendations?

I have seen ''Madagascar'' on the big screen it was fun similar to ''Ice Age'', "Tarzan" and "Pokohontas". Recently I watched "Incredibles" (Unglaubliches)

"Once" - a fantastic film, "I am Legend" - likewise, The Bourne Trilogy is good action, "Local Hero", "The Commitments", "Master and Commander", "The Last of the Mohicans", "Empire of the Sun", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"
I absolutely second the recommendation of Last of the Mohicans, even though it goes back to the 90's. Daniel Day Lewis is great as always, and I thought the villain, Magua, was one of the best ever in a film. I used to show it to my high school students in U.S. history as a great example of romanticism and some reasonable history of the French and Indian Wars as well. Without putting any spoilers out there, I still get all nervous and pumped up when I watch the last ten minutes of that movie--great filmmaking. A really strong soundtrack doesn't hurt either.

I also managed to download eBook "The Last of the Mohicans" by James Fenimore Cooper on the iPhone and it is a great reading Whoever also uses that gadget you might browse on the iTunes for it!

Re: Movie recommendations?

'Life Is Beautiful' (La Vita e Bella) is a wonderful movie about a father's love in helping his son get through time in a concentration camp.

Last night, saw 'K-Pax' for the first time. It stars the admirable Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. Good movie, funny and touching.

naahh.. Its a new moive, based on abductions which happen of travellers in paris.

As i said its a little serious eye opener sort of movie.

Watch Tropic Thunder if you want to see comedy movies.

Not sure this goes to little old time, but Blue Diamond is a good movie also, if you want to sit n laugh.
