Father figure complex...?

Hello..

When women are attracted / or in a relationship with older men ( especially men with a certain position ) what is this relationship called...? The age difference is at least 15 years or more.

Is there any terminology for it.. like for example there is :

Electra Complex / Oedipus Complex..

I have been asked many a times and don't know if such a term really does exist.

Cheers !

Re: Father figure complex...?

My wife is 15 years younger than me and I would hardly classify myself as a 'sugar daddy'. If anyone wants to remedy this by lobbing great sacks of cash in my direction, I'll gladly assume the moniker.

Re: Father figure complex...?

For the romantics among us, "May and December" is a common description - both Chaucer and Boccaccio had stories about such relationships.

I seem to recall she didn't have a good time after the divorce - even though i'm sure she was well looked after during the marriage.

Moral of the story was: If you are after the money, remember there will be many more and willing to do worse than you.
