Re: Are you addicted to a TV series?

Ermmm, I don't think I have time for TV what with being addicted to this forum!

I can find everthing I want to aid in my procrastination.... tetris, threads, frappa maps( Im sure if Diem's marker is accurate, I can shake hands with him from the balcony ) and now the exciting possibility of a chatroom too! I cant wait!!!

WHO NEEDS CHEWING GUM FOR THE BRAIN???

Re: Are you addicted to a TV series?

I absolutely loved Firefly (IMDB: 9.5/10). Can't believed Fox cancelled it. Serenity never made it to the cinemas here either. It was scheduled to open and then vanished when the opening thursday came around

I second Family Guy. Monkey Dust is also something really good.

Currently just finished X-Files season 1.

Re: Are you addicted to a TV series?

Many of the already mentioned are on my list, so I'll add:
  • Veronica Mars
  • The Shield
  • The Wire
  • Amazing Race
  • Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Although I'm not sure if I'm addicted to any/all of those...

Firefly was fab. Have you seen Serenity? If not, then PM me immediately and I'll lend you the DVD. It's like Firefly but with movie buget, which makes everything richer :-)

Re: Are you addicted to a TV series?

Also a big fan of a lot of TV too (mainly US stuff)

Prison Break (of course :> Thank god for series 2)
Lost Series 1 & 2
24 series 1 - 5 (getting a bit fed up of the same ol' story though)
The Shield (just started series 2, quite good police drama)
My Name is Earl (bizarre comedy - for lovers of seinfeld, family guy)
Family Guy (wierder than than simpsons early stuff)
Documentaries (is that a dirty word ? "Michael Palin" - most of, "Meet the Stans" - about all the central asian countries ending in "Stan")

Pity it takes a year to "dub" it into German. I love dubbing (cough cough)

This brought back memories of Monkey that the BBC did really well quite a few years ago. Must put in the DVD sometime.

I've also started watching Jeeves and Wooster again. (Fry & Laurie)
Human Remains is also pretty good.

Re: Are you addicted to a TV series?

Where do I start????

24, all five series
American Dad
Family Guy
Two and a Half Men
Mythbusters
Spooks
Coupling
Top Gear
Nip Tuck
CSI (Vegas, Miami & NY)

and I'm just starting on Scrubs and Prison Break

A good series often beats a movie in my book, as they're normally only 30-45 mins you can squeeze one in when you don't have time for a full 2 hour movie.

Weeds
If you enjoyed the cynical viewpoint of society that Six Feet Under presented, you'll enjoy this

I'd link to www.sho.com but you can see, they make it mandatory to use US-based public proxy servers to get past their "security". Retards.

Dear SHO
You do know that your programming is sold overseas. Why not embrace the global internet, not just the continental US version?
Love,
Lob

For all those addicted to LOST, here's information about something that gives a LOT of answers and it's 'official'.

Re: Are you addicted to a TV series?

Our TV broke last year and we didn't see any need to replace it, so I don't even know what's on anymore. It's interesting to see the titles of shows I don't even recognize.
