Are you addicted to a TV series?

The Sopranos? 24? Prison Break? Are you addicted to a TV series?

My girlfriend and I started watching Prison Break a little while ago and were soon hooked - watching up to 4 episodes a day. A mate of mine downloaded them all via P2P so it was easy to watch more than one a week :D

Right now we have finished the whole of season 1 and watched the first episode of season 2. The 2nd episode of season 2 comes out tonight in the US, and my mate said he is ready to download it via bit torrent as soon as it hits the net.

What's your favourite series? Do you often watch the whole series as quickly as possible?

You can use this thread to also discuss anything else related to your favourite series, including plot lines etc.

Lost
Rescue Me
and the most excellent
Deadwood
spring to mind :)

All watched on Sky+, usually when the damn machine is nearly full (60 hour capacity!!)

Lost - fantastic show. I got hold of a download of the first 2 eps which intrigued me enough that I watched it all the way through on Channel4 from the UK. Then I bought the DVD boxset and watched it all the way though again over the course of a week

Then, I got into getting the US episodes via download and watched pretty much the whole of the second season that way.

Great show, I just hope that they can keep up the quality.

Other US Faves - Battlestar Galactica. Watched the whole of the second season on d/l and then once again when it came on Sky TV.

Don't know if anyone of you has seen Invasion.
Incredibly nice plot and very good overall... 1 season came out, then has been cut...
Don't watch it if you don't want to remain with that bitterness in your mouth.

I'll probably be slated but I have to say I am pretty hooked on Lost and managed to watch the whole second series before it came on UK screens via the magic of P2P

Got really hooked on 24 series 1 & 2 started watching series 3 but went on honeymoon half way through and have never got round to finsihing it, I have series 3 and 4 as box set DVD's but still haven't got round to watching them

I have heard a lot about Prison Break but haven't actually seen it, may see if I can get 'my mate' to download it

I think my mate just sent your a PM with the torrent...

Female fans of prison break seem to be quite taken with the main actor, Wentworth Miller - they reckon he's a bit of alright...

I quite often get addicted to series - and then watch them the whole way through without stopping!! If its just once a week on TV, I tend to miss too many episodes...:( Fortunately, I get regular box sets of different series, usually at least two series of whatever I am watching at a time.... I try not to watch too many at a time, but I just can't help it.... I still remeber spending almost an entire weekend in front of the TV watching 24.... Otherwise I try not to watch TV at all, to make up for it!!

Go to google, type in "what is p2p". Or go to the thread on this forum where we talk about it. It's linked in my post at the top of this thread.
