i am doing a wedding vid. and thats why im looking to find a song for my best mate that describes the stages of developing from baby to boy to man. because thats what the pics show and i need to score, soundtrack it.

i liked the line from anthony and the johnsons-man used to be the baby, but the rest of the text and the mood of the song doesnt fit.

any suggestion, ideas?

ok, youll see the image below. it shows the hospital where he was born, the house he grew up in and baby pics to youth (some characteristic images about the town he/we grew up in) until the point he leaves home for good (taking on his first job at the age of 16) the belly pic is meant that i have an animation done. i say from the off in the voice over that it took not much time until he lost his virginity about beer, footy, girls...shown above his head in a bubble "thinking about it"


i have shot an animation him sitting on a train, passing a graphic showing the stages of his trip from berlin to munich where he found his job, new friends, his first flat. then i capture some more moments in munich until he finds the job ad that was the initial thing, as he met the girl he is going to merry at his job at the time. and parallel i show the same stuff about her.

here i use the sountrack 1979 from smashing pumpkins as she was born in 1979 and cool kids, haunt down with freaks, cops in blue etc. etc. captures very well what she was up to...

sinatras "my way" is abit like "im ready to face the end of life", as i wanna say: i grew up and was ready to face what life had for me...or like "look what a cute baby he was and now look at the spoiled fella" kind of way
