And Then There Were Three... Genesis.
But it's not as good as I remember thinking it was.

Just came back from visiting my mum for her 70th birthday, so while I was there I went to the local record shops and brought 7 Argentinean prog rock albums, one of them is one of my all-time favourite records. It's called "Bajo Belgrano", by jazz-rock fusion band "Spinetta Jade": https://open.spotify.com/album/3pFMaPwaHb6D0EkMtRlaO9 |

Celebrating what would habve been José Luis Spinetta's 70th birthday, they released his second posthumous album, called "Ya no mires atrás" ("Don't look back now"). Available today in Spotify as well.
There's also a very timely Rolling Stone article about him and his band from last week: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/m...tepdad-939783/ |

It's from a show from 2009, when Spinetta celebrated his 40 years in music with 2 consecutive five-and-a-half-hours concert called "Spinetta y las Bandas Eternas" (Spinetta and The Eternal Bands) at the Vélez Sarsfield Stadium in Buenos Aires. It is considered by Argentine music fans and critics as the greatest gig of the decade.
Sadly for them and all of us, Spinetta never found out that Gustavo Cerati never woke up from the 4-year coma brought on by the cerebral infarction he suffered in 2010, and Ceratti never found out that Spinetta passed in 2012.
PS: at the end of the clip, Gustavo says "A dream fulfilled....for me. Enjoy it, Luis".

Coogans Bluff - Metronopolis (2020). A bit of kraut rock, a spoonful of Zappa, one teaspoon of Crimson, two drops of more modern sounds and some bits of pop. https://youtu.be/veXacx_AWIY
The guys will play next March 27th at Coq d'Or in Olten (SO)

Got this vinyl's first pressing on the mail a few days ago, so I've been playing it over and over again (I mean, streaming it as well). What an album ! https://open.spotify.com/album/4CgleVVe43iVPsmWh7Mydo |

wonderful guitarist, the song seems fitting considering the rocky terrain earlier discussion on Brazillian music

Their album, "Katy Lied". was amazing! Also, NotAllThere, I loved that Genesis album as well. Also loved Peter Gabriel and his solo albums, specifically, "So" - what an amazing album that was |
