Just came back from visiting my mum for her 70th birthday, so while I was there I went to the local record shops and brought 7 Argentinean prog rock albums, one of them is one of my all-time favourite records. Oh, yeah, I was raised in Buenos Aires. I love(d) both Gustavo Ceratti and Soda Stereo.

Celebrating what would habve been José Luis Spinetta's 70th birthday, they released his second posthumous album, called "Ya no mires atrás" ("Don't look back now"). Available today in Spotify as well.

It's from a show from 2009, when Spinetta celebrated his 40 years in music with 2 consecutive five-and-a-half-hours concert called "Spinetta y las Bandas Eternas" (Spinetta and The Eternal Bands) at the Vélez Sarsfield Stadium in Buenos Aires. It is considered by Argentine music fans and critics as the greatest gig of the decade.

Sadly for them and all of us, Spinetta never found out that Gustavo Cerati never woke up from the 4-year coma brought on by the cerebral infarction he suffered in 2010, and Ceratti never found out that Spinetta passed in 2012.

PS: at the end of the clip, Gustavo says "A dream fulfilled....for me. Enjoy it, Luis".
