Crazy!!!! any idea of release date?? 2012??

I hope it wont be such a let down as the last one, good graphics but poor playability. Also anyone find that the game was just too small????

San Andreas was the last good GTA.

Back in the day the GTA series was revolutionary, but since then games like AC have come along which simply define the concept of 'sandbox gaming'. Also with the advent of various new styles of driving games, i am not sure where it really leaves the GTA series.

Gaming has moved on and so should Rockstar.

cheers

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

Working my way through Red Dead Redemption at the moment, pretty good, getting through it but seems a bit lacking in things to do.

Ordered a whole bunch of new games for winter from amazon, including uc3, the new assasins creed, the new modern warfare, skyrim, deus ex and ico + shadow of the colossus, should keep me busy for horrible winter weekends.

On another note, somewhat intrigued as to why Amazon sent me an email recomending me the following games for PC. Are my purchasing habits somehow identifying me as the sort of person who would want them?

Street Cleaning Simulator
Trucks and Trailers
City Bus Simulator.
Traffic Manager

I mean honestly, they're all PC games, when are they out for PS3?

You have all the challenges and the treasure hunt. As well as the apocalypse horse catching (that one is epic )

The challenges can be annoying, finding the creatures/plants in the right places means a lot of wandering around in the desert. I can't even figure out the second treasure hunt map is displaying, am tempted to go online and look where it might be.

A point i touched on earlier when talking about GT4.

Rockstar have always come with really good ideas, just the concept of RDR was great. I ended up selling it within 2 weeks.......

As a company Rockstar lack the vision of taking their ideas to the next level. The best example of this is Ubisoft with their AC brand. The step up from ACI to ACII was incredible......they really thought about and listened to gamers. They realized the 'rinse and repeat gameplay' simply did not equate to playablity.

Didn't get it with GT4, there was always the option to go haring through traffic at top speed, doing stunts, climbing buildings looking for weapons etc, which is lacking with the horse riding and general sparsness of terrain in RDR.

Missed all the hype on that one, but it's looking quite tempting, I might add it to the order.

Sadly, I'm not a gambling man. And the mini games play really slowly, even when you skip the deals and turns.

Still gonna play it through, it does have it's good moments.
