Re: [General discussion of] PS3

Jeepers, Pioneer just brought out a new Blu-ray disc standard that can store 400GB, current dual layer BD is 50gb. Best of all, this new standard is readable by the PS3.

Not sure if someone has suggested this before or not, but what about swapping games via the forum? Not sure the best way to do it, maybe start a new thread with whatever games you have and don't play any more and what games you'd like...could also act as a for sale thread if people want to make offers? Should cut down on the expenditure and also mean you get pretty much cost value back on any games you've bought.
Very good idea. We should probably make the thread at the beginning of the New Year and ask the mods to make it sticky. Doing it before Christmas, it'll just get lost in the shuffle.

I'd imagine we'll have a constantly-updated main post, with names of posters and the games they have for trade listed. With a format like this, for example (currently unavailable games will be bolded):

Quote:
monkeynut - PS3 games:
Star wars force unleashed
Lego Star wars
Assasins creed
Tiger Woods 08
Metal Gear solid 4 (traded for game x with <poster name>)
F1 championship racing
That way we can keep track of who has what game at any given moment.

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

HELP NEEDED:

I have been searching like a bugger for some time now for the full tracklisting on the new Tiger Woods game.

One of the tracks i actually reconized, they used an instrumental of some random tune i have on vinyl. Unfortunatly its a white label so i have no idea who made it.

Can anyone find a full tracklisting for the game????

cheers
SC

p.s. Im back in London soon and upon my return i shall give you lot a full run down of the new Prince of Persia.

On a similar note, I have to say I find quite a few of the songs off pro evo 2009 incredibly catchy and would like to find lyrics etc for them, if anyone knows a site...

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

Regarding songs on games... you can always use the shazam application on your iphone to find the track name... although i think EA normally gives the track names somewhere in game.

then just google "track name" lyrics. works for me.

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

If you like a good FPS then check out Deadspace. In full HD it has amazing graphics too. Fallout 3 also appears good and has a bit more of a role play element. Home is excellent if there are a few of you on there. If not then it's boring with nothing to do. On a positive they do seem to have sorted out many of their bugs.

I like www.wog.ch. Just be sure to do the research on languages if you want English, if in doubt, order from the UK.

Always UK online stores for me. Whoever has the best price. I've had some bad experiences over here. Eg. Call of Duty Modern W in German.
