Hmm, hearing all you guys playing BO makes me wonder if it's worth getting the PS3 version. I've never, ever played an FPS on a console, so I would be awful (hell, I'm no expert on the PC) and it would probably turn me off completely. Think I'll stick with my action adventure games, loving Arkham Asylum at the mo and still have to complete AC and start ACII and Brotherhood.

I would recommend picking up MW2 as a starting point. Good gameplay (story mode) and also it has a great section of 'special ops'. This is all offline........then the online gameplay has great maps!!

I have a copy (in German though) i can post you if you are interested in trying it out. If you do like it i would suggest you pick up a cheap copy in English as the storyline is pretty good (i dont know what your german is like).

The main thing for noobs () on FPS's is getting the sensitivity settings on the screen movement right. When you get better, then you can adjust it accordingly.

cheers

p.s. the new Batman is coming soon!!!

In BO, Its all About Hardcore!
Biggest plus is you dont have to put a whole clip in a guy for him to go down, AK47- 1 good shot to chest at medium range does the trick (sometimes two)

Best Perks- Ghost pro, Bling PRO, and Hacker Pro! - unbeatable!
Never understood alll the rage with Prestige... A bit pointless really no?

Ive been away from TV for 1.5 month now, cannot wait to get back and fire it up! plus i heard the PSN was down anyhow!

If anyone wants to get some COD action on in a few weeks my tag name edster2008
What does annoy me about hardcore is you cannot use the new maps, so it gets a little tedious at times.

For the commando/spas:
-Ghost Pro
-Sleight of Hand Pro (warlord for commando if i go suppressor/double mag)
-Hacker Pro

For the Kiparis:
-Scavanger Pro
-Sleight of Hand Pro
-Marathon Pro

USEFUL TIP: The jammer will mess up with claymores, giving you a chance to fck with campers like in Villa.

Does the jammer have to be set on the ground though?

I do like the super fast mod, Marathon lightweight and sleight of hand, its priceless to get those guys at the start of the map by an absolute rush! I find AK74U is a complete beast with that combination!

PS. Have you guys got the Choppe Pilot! Amazing if noone on other team bothers to bring rockets! Absolute analihation!

Ohh.... .... I want to go home.....

No, as long as the claymores are within the jamming circle you'll disable them.

Hence in Villa, when the guys camp in the 2nd floor, you just put it behind the bar and it will mess withthe claymores at the stairs. (plus it messes their radar so you can go in and rape)

Bomber's my favourite only for the graphics, completely pointless random bombing otherwise.

I played MW2 on the PC, the MP set up was annoying as hell, due to the host server set up. Maybe having a bash on the PS3 wouldn't be such a bad idea. Would you mind?

Good Tip!

But if you opt for hacker, you can see them anyway! and blow them up, but I guess you loose your element of surprise!

Another one is, the Flack Jacket perk, you are immune to claymores and RC-XD's (I hate the RC-XD.... worst thing ever!)

If you opt for hacker, then yo u can see where ampers ARE.
Hence putting the jammer gives you the drop on them fools....

My friend and I usually do that, I put the jammer, he goes flash, I go concussion and proceed to clear the room.

True Seems you have all this worked out eh, we'll see soon enough

They can also be used as decoys like claymores for unsuspecting chumps looking for this stuff. Then they usually take one in the back of the head

Just dont forget to wear the shoes when you get you're ass wiped.
