I pre-ordered MW3 ages ago, but somehow i am more looking forward to the new Assasins Creed.
Finished the story for assasin creed brotherhood over the weekend, annoying cliffhanger setup for sequel, bit of a let down. How many sequels will they make before it gets boring? Still got a few side missions to complete, so it'll keep me occupied for a while yet.

Have you unlocked any of the outfits yet? The best one is the Raiden costume.

The next one 'Assasins Creed: Revelations' is the last one with Ezio, and promises closure on the general story line with a few things about Altair to be cleared up as well.

Then they will start with a whole new set of characters.

I really want the one after to be set in Robin Hood times. That would be cool.

Anyone else thing Desmond is a bit of plonker?

cheers

Not that I know of.... I wondered about the metal gear solid credit was for in the end credits.

Glad to hear they'll wrap up the story, at least in ACB they didn't charge for extra bits of the story like the previous version. Sneaky. I see you can get a costume for spending uPoints, whatever they are.

Complete all the tasks in the ''Animus Virtual Training Mode Thingy''.

I dont think you need to get gold in all of them (i cant remember), but i am pretty sure you only need to get minimum bronze in all.

Its a bit of a pointless (no pun intended) system imo.

During the game you can get upoints for doing certain things, and then redeem outfits, weapon upgrades etc... in the UPLAY section on the main menu.

In all honesty i think its really just a way for Ubisoft to get your email address, in which you get very little in return.

cheers

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

Just gave the new map pack for COD:BO a two hour stint.

Not that impressed tbh.

Not sure it will keep me going till my pre-orders arrive:

Rugby World Cup 2011
Batman:AC
AC:R
COD:MW3

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

I just re-purchased a PS3 the other week. Can anyone tell why games on the Swiss PSN are so redicuously expensive compared to other countries. I feel like I am getting bummed just looking at the prices.

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

Just seen GOLDEN EYE - RELOADED on the pre-order section on play.com ( click here )

Release date = end october

I am not sure if i should be excited or not.

The last 2/3 bond games i bought were pretty average tbh, but still playable and did pass some time.

The last decent bond game since the original Golden Eye was Perfect Dark imo.

I think i will wait till it drops in price........i will have AC-R, COD3 & Batman:AC to keep me amused in the meantime.

Thoughts........??

cheers

Is is just me, or has this thread been slowly dying since the mods made the silly choice to move it to the 'Off-Topic' area?

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

Well, the games offered with the Plus account on the Welcome Back program are no longer valid, which was sad because I wanted to continue playing Burnout Paradise. So I bought Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box only to find out that game saves from the downloadable version of BP didn't transfer to Ultimate Box. So I've effectively lost all my progress. This sucks. Hard.

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

I am glad so many people replied to my earlier James Bond post

Anyway...........I just got the Official Rugby World Cup 2011 game.

It was marketed as FIFA/Pro-Evo but for Rugby. It certainly is not.

What is crap about the game is that it is so small. There is no 'training section' which would of been great to concentrate on certain aspects of the game to learn the buttons. But its a case of learn as you play. A giant FAIL imo.

Graphics are average, and the game gets boring quick. Tactics are limited to 2/3 choices and the commentators responses often dont make sense and also they repeat themselves alot.

I was hoping this game would keep me going till MW3, AC:R & the new Batman games arrive. I was wrong.

I have not played online yet because you have to go to their website and unlock the code which is so ghey its unreal. I think online play will be better, lets just see if i hit problems trying to unlock a UK game but play on Swiss servers (like EA games). I will keep you guys informed.

There is another Rugby game coming out soon Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge which apparently is much better.

Can anyone suggest a half decent game to keep me busy for the next month or two?

cheers
