The HD remake of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus should be in my mailbox soon. I have played Ico before but never finished it. Shadow of the Colossus I have never played, but it is a game I have always been very curious about.

The Last Guardian, a game made by the same developer should be out somewhere in 2012:

Dead island! I will have to buy! Once again we have few months coming with some really exciting titles, Uncharted 3, MW3, BF, Batman.. Sooon!

And also dont forget NEW SSX!! wooo!
Just tried Dead Island Coop again yesterday with a friend... very disappointing experience, the systems just kept freezing every couple of minutes, so no real gameplay possible...

It may be worthwile to wait a few weeks at least till they have finally finished programming the game.. Single player is still good fun though.

SSX? Time to borrow that beamer...

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

Finally, finally finished AC. Was a bit of a chore towards the end. I like the way ACII follows on directly from its conclusion.

Started making some more progress in Dead Space 2 (after dropping the difficulty level ). It gets creepier and more disgusting as you go along (don't think my 11 year old enjoyed watching me play it though, especially the stomping on the corpses ).

SC you need to send me your full name and address again for UC2. I emptied my inbox and lost it .

I'm a little shell-shocked by FIFA 12. Much more difficult than previous incarnations.

Better late than never

Massive gameplay upgrade from I to II......let us know how you get on.

Not long till Revelations is out.........i hope you have pre-ordered!!!

I played it at softridge in HB. Seems cool but I couldn't change the language settings so didn't buy.

I got a request of a clan vs clan. but we ve only 2 f4gs

Just a question, did you buy it? and was it Multilanguage like the first 2?

I didnt buy it yet because i still got some games i havent finished like Deus Ex (which turned out to be surprisingly good) and SOTC collection that i bought.

It Could be that BF3 will be better, But I have been suckered in MW from the start, so for that reason I will no matter what buy MW3 and maybe have a look into BF3 as well as a treat
Personally, i loved BF2, BFBC 1 and 2, and i really liked the BF3 PC Alpha so thats what im getting. i still have no internet at my new apartment waiting for Swisscom to activate my line, but planning to test out the MP beta on PS3/PC as soon as i get it.

imo, BF games have more mature players then MW and it is more fun and let me say, realistic then MW =)

Also, i have to mention, the way Activition deals with Bugs is just hilarious.
They make you pay for a full game thats full of bugs, they take forever to fix these bugs and glitches that ppl use to cheat, and the best thing about it is they blamed the PS3 hack on the cheats and glitches their games had (which existed MONTHS before the PS3 was hacked haha)

That alone drove me away from that franchise and decided to never buy their products again till i know for a fact that they started to make proper games.

I am the opposite, i played SOTC so much on PS2 and i used to love it but never played ICO, i bought the HD collection from Fnac last weekend and as soon as i got home i told my wife youre about to see some of the best gigantic monsters PS2 has ever seen. She didnt care much heheh. im still enjoying it, one thing though, i dont remember the horse being so damn annoying hehe

Looking forward to the Last Guardian myself.

Hope we get some BF3 gamers when the time comes.

Also, dont forget about Uncharted 3, one of the best game series this generation, i got an early accesss to the FULL GAME Multiplayer through a friend in the US but im beating myself for not having internet access yet to play it. from what i read its gonna be available for everyone next week or something though.

I have so many favorite games so im just gonna name the first few that come to mind:

uncharted 1/2
Ratchet & Clank, all of ratchets games that came out this gen
Resistance 1
MGS4
GT5
Limbo
Pixel Jungle games, like PJ Shooter and PJ Eden
BFBC 1/2
Midnight club L.A.

and so many more..

Games ill be playing the next couple of months are:
Uncharted 3
BF3, PS3/PC
AC Revelations
+ a few PSN games

I played Shadow of the Colossus, really was a beautiful looking game with some good puzzles, but I never really got what was going on at the end.

Think I might splash out for a HD version to see if I get it this time round, do you know if it's just been rezzed up or have they done a little more?

Wouldn't mind trying Ico too.

Oh yes, i forgot to mention them in my favourite game list

The first 3 were great, specially Brotherhood, i thought it was just an "expansion" but i was very surprised on how good the game was and how long the story/gameplay was. great game. looking forward for the next instalment.

Here is a video which compares the ps2 and ps3 versions:

From what I've heard the controls feel very outdated, but I haven't played the game yet myself though.

Bah, video not working here, have to try it later.

I found the controls were clunky in the original, but you could put up with it.

Re: [General discussion of] PS3

What with all the upcoming gaming goodness, I'm not really sure how I'm going to cram it all in.
For the PS3: AC:R, Rage, MW3, Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City (still have ACII, AC:B, Deus Ex, Dead Space 2 and Two Worlds 2 to finish)
For the PC: SWTOR and BF3
