The ultimate EF nightmare

That's right. I'm logging in on EF on a time I should be asleep. Not because I'm heavily drunk after an amazing party, but I just had the ultimate EF nightmare. I can't sleep anymore. My dog isn't convincing enough that everything will be alright, so I simply must get this off my chest in order to get some more sleep.

So the thread was about running. Sada posted about some amazing jogging round of her that took her about one hour and would get her to this beautiful area close to Basel (and this area is actually close to Reykjavik, not Basel).
For some reason, my disabled sister saw this thread and made a rather long post about geography facts about this area. Not only was I surprised of her amazing knowledge of geography, but also that her English was in fact better than mine + she had cooler nickname and avatar than me.

Of course, these geography facts had nothing to do with the topic of running, so within 5 minutes she had already got 9 groans, even from some buddies of mine like Slaphead, and some unfriendly comments like her hair looked bad from Natasha (her hair is great btw). The mods were already thinking about closing the thread and banning her (witch would infect my IP address).

Shocking, right?
Well, I better try go sleeping again since this is over now. And maybe I should consider spending less time on EF.

Don't worry, real life isn't all that great. You're not missing much. Was Slaphead naked when he groaned?

Re: The ultimate EF nightmare

I have not been sleeping too well of late.

Suddenly I have a situation with a green blob on this forum which is a bit of a concern.

I am so used to being controversial, offensive and just rude, oh and not to mention the minorets, sharia law (often my opinion or to just have a bit of impact) when I see that there are so many politicaly correct sheep on here...Bar...Bar...Bar.

Just for the record I can assure you and everybody else here that at 6:06 this morning I was not at all naked, and the only groaning initiated by myself was activating the coffee machine in order for it to dispense my first caffeine beverage of the day.

What a horrible thought Uncle Max. That's probably compounded Begga's nightmare experience tenfold.

Hope you eventually got some more sleep Begga

Always try to keep your "person" out of this Forum or any other internet forums and not to take anything personally.

Its always easy for people to say whatever, sitting behind a computer screen and not fully understanding the person making the post, which they might not dare in person.

Did, but next dream was about me going out for a run, not taking a shower and then go to Zurich drinks with greasy hair and no make up No one wanted to talk to me except you, because you desperately needed advice how to talk your girlfriend out of buying a Poodle from the UK for £300,000
Your words were: 'I said yes to a dog, not to a Poodle'.

Now that's spooky because that is almost exactly what I would say in that situation.

Re: The ultimate EF nightmare

Ms Begga, this sounds very much like post menstrual syndrome. "post", of course, not the Latin prefix meaning "subsequent to", but in the sense of "posting" as generally understood when applied in the context of a message board. Are you hypoglycaemic? Do you suffer from anxiety or stress? Has Mr Dervaish bombarded you with a barrage of inappropriate PMs?

It is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause(s) of your discomfort without a full clinical examination. Please arrange an appointment with my secretary.

Re: The ultimate EF nightmare

I am running simulations on my laptop, while reading Leisure Wheels 4x4 magazine and checking results from Aussie Open 2010 quarter finals simulataneously. It is snowing outside and aroma of freshly ground coffee on my desk makes me smile. I won't even feel bothered by disrupting news on the EF What else do I want from life, it cannot get an inch longer and better ?

My life hasn't been this stress-less for a long time. Everything is going fine in my life. Great job, great friends, Derv as my biggest fan, etc. For the posting in the 'middle' of the night, I had some sleeping problems 1/2 year ago, and I read that instead of hanging in bed awake all night, you should rather stand up, have a glass of water, etc. So there fore, I just turned EF on, in order to be able to continue sleeping.

Dr Graben,

Since you so eagerly drag me into one of your potential clients (read victim for rip off) ever so often, I will give in to it. Ok, we can book a session for me, and I will pay you double your going "professional charges."

BUT... on one condition that you will help me out with my "issues" without developing some of your own. I promise I wont play Matt Damon in Goodwill hunting, and will talk. Infact, I will tell you all my said "issues." You would, probably, be able to write some Psychology Paper based on them, even name a phenomenon after me. Would'bt be surprising if you would win a Noble Prize for it.

Mind you, I wont be off the shelf kind of patient, whom you can put on anti-depressants and give the usual kind of advice i.e. "Take it easy, take each day as it comes" - "You need to look at bigger picture and be more positive" - "Take a holiday, go somewhere nice" - "Go for walks in the evening with a big smile" - "Make new friends" - "Come to the healing session where you can share your experiences with other like minded individuals" etc... etc... bloody etc...

I cannot remember the last time I had a dream or even a nightmare. You know why? Because my conscious waking hours are so intricately unique that even my sub-conscious, during my sleep, fails to match it!

I would suggest you get 2 of those relaxing couches, that you offer your "cleints" to lie down on. You would be needing the other one in no time.
