Were you able to "finish" this one yet? It's incredibly long. Incredibly good too. I will refrain from spoilers, but the attention to detail, the voice acting, the game mechanics, the very, very large "sandbox" element, the soundtrack, etc, etc.

No, not really. Its too long yes. But I spend too much time just roaming around the desert doing stuff...which is too much fun.

But overall, I am very impressed by the game...very well-made game, I say.

Re: The X-Box 360 thread

E3 is on this week and so far we get the news that Project Natal is being renamed Kinect.

Personally I think project natal sounds better.

Still no definite date and price but MS are speaking tonight so expect more details to follow.

Several sites (eg Engadget) are also reporting a leaked update to the 360 form factor... some kind of Xbox 360 Slim.... although having seen the leaked pictures, it doesnt really look slim at all. also reports built in wifi and 250gb hard drive... this makes sense.

Re: The X-Box 360 thread

Well, I guess we know why they recently have all these deals for the existing 360.

At Interdiscount, with an Arcade system for 279 CHF, you get a 250GB hard drive and 3 months of live for free.

If the fan is as quiet as they claim and its failure rate is less than 30%, it can look like a clothes iron for all I care. People are getting a better product.

Re: The X-Box 360 thread

The new slim is only 17pc smaller than the old model. I guess that constitutes a major diet in America.

Agreed though, just make it quiet.
