Re: given a chance... what would you change?

You cannot change the past. Any thought of trying to do so only makes the present seem bad.

Learn from any mistakes and concentrate on making the future better. That is something you can influence.

Give a chance. if i can go back to my 25, i wish i can stay there forever! Dislike to grow up ... too much pain to be an adult, you see all those questions raised in EF? ....

Re: given a chance... what would you change?

I did think at one time why not hopp onto a carrier like a Pamela Anderson and become
a perfectly well fabricated lust product or lust object and lap up with glee the success, fame and bla bla bla.

Funnily enough though, I am glad I didn't. Strange that isn't it.

So are the rest of us. That wouldn't have left you much time for posting on EF, an acting-and-modelling career.

Re: given a chance... what would you change?

For a long time my biggest regret was moving house from Featherstone to Ackworth, just to not live so close to my ex who was wrecking my head at the time.

But, had I not moved to Ackworth, I'd have not hated it and moved to Exeter.
Had I not moved to Exeter, I'd have never got the job I got there.
Had that company not moved to Switzerland, I'd not be here now.

So even the biggest regrets can have a positive impact on your life - ripples in the pond, innit.

There's lots of things I regret doing / not doing, but they're part of what makes me "me", so I wouldn't want to change them because I actually quite like who I am these days.

Re: given a chance... what would you change?

I try to be a "don't regret/always look forward/everything I did shapes me as I am today" kind of guy, but there were a few cruel or inconsiderate choices I could have easily not made that would have spared a lot of unhappiness to many people. Everyone needs to have a few regrets like that and be conscious of them in order not to repeat the same mistakes. An "ends justify the means" kind of philosophy concerning regrets is a very selfish one.

I wanted to join the Red Cross and work in developping countries.
It didn't happen (I didn't try)
I still like to think of what might have been..
