Various musings on post counts - was 500 Posts Up....

That its I've made it to 500 posts. Some were funny (or at least I thought so) some were informative and some were probably damn right rude...

Any way some facts

500 Posts

I have groaned at people 5 times but have been groaned at 7 time
Thanked 108 but have been thanked 279 times
I have 10 positive rep points

thelovedoctor has groaned at me twice
devalish has given me the most rep points
Natasha, baboon (deservedly so) and notallthere have been the only people to bad repped me, one for groaning!

What I like about the forum is the willingness of people to share information

What I dislike about it is how some posters seem to enjoy posting something funny (in their opinion) on what was, until that point a serious discussion

Re: 500 Posts Up....

Congratulations.

TBH I am trying to limit my posting so as not to become a "Forum Veteran". Sounds like you've been through a war to get there. Although, "Senior Member" isn't much better, but at least it has a nice double entendre that I quite enjoy.

Thanks for putting this thread in General Off-Topic where it will not be added to my post count.

Oh, and I got the shock of my life to see who negative repped you. I wouldn't worry about it too much. You're in good company.

The number of the Beast

Inspired by portsmouth68's 500 Posts Up...

Made it to 666 posts.

Rep is 4 green blobbies. No idea how to convert that into a number.

Only got 1 groan I was aware of, which was redacted the same day. I am surprised I got off so lightly so far.

I'm also pleasantly surprised I'm still posting here. It has to be a for EF.

My sex gene is on overload...I read the title as, the number of the breast...I was thinking 2 but was hoping for more interesting facts in this thread..I now feel disappointed and let down by the internet.

Was that not a comic strip in the long defunct Wikipedia reference-linkZit (comic)? Only I think it was number 667. Which is not usually correct unless they lived in a Close or something. But "The person who lives on the opposite side of the street from The Beast" doesn't scan quite as well, does it?

Re: Various musings on post counts - was 500 Posts Up....

Sorry Portsmouth for editing your title and adding bodmins post to here but it seems you have started a trend and we can't really be doing with everyone announcing to us how many posts they have

So I apologies it had to be your thread but its your fault for being the trend setter
