Romance novel consequences

Based on a recent thread, and the fact that lots of people who are pretty good at writing spend a lot of time on here, just for fun, write a sentence or two of a romance novel. The next poster has to continue the story, throwing in new characters and seeing off old ones as they see fit. Who knows, maybe it will get published, or at least sold to a soap.

For instance, slighty edited...

Fifi, clad only in her diaphanous chiffon negligee and caribou mules, languished in the cool breeze that filtered seductively through her fine muslin curtains. As she reclined on her chaise longue, marvelling at the wonderful myriad reflections on the ceiling, she slowly raised a flute of chilled Cyrstal to her lips, allowing herself to be immersed in the sheer pleasure as the cool, sparkling liquid filled first her mouth and then her throat. Suddenly, her luxurious, calm, tranquility was shatterd by the realisation that there, on her laptop, a groan had appeared on her last EF post ...

Jasmine languished, alone, limned by the glow of her laptop screen and thought of...him, as she groaned at his post. How she wished she was groaning over something else of his. She didn't know if his reputation was deserved, but she didn't care. Hadn't she, after all, always been hopelessly drawn to the bad boys? The ones that could so easily, at every delicious encounter, elicit multiple groans?

Her gaze ravished his fresh avatar, hungrily probing-- how close might this one be? His presence in Today's Posts had driven her, once again, to google his handle. She knew it was wrong... it would probably only lead back to the same old threads. But she couldn't help it. She flicked her fingertip over the scroll button, sending her pointer spinning dizzily towards the balance scales. She had blobbies, oh yes, many blobbies. As if, all along, she'd been saving them up just for him. Little did she realise that Foofoo was actually Fifi...

Meanwhile, newly frocked Patrick was looking forward to his new role as priest at the orphanage...

It had been a hot sweaty afternoon on the farm and Darlene could see him (Patrick) coming in from the pig shed through the kitchen window where she had been butchering hens all day. Darlene's nostrils flared as she started to get a hint of the rich smell of her would be lovers' labor as he came in the door. There was just something about that smell that exited her...

She met him only 5 minutes ago, but Darlene's heart began to flutter as she realised that she might have found Mr. Right - he had been a banker and was now a priest, owned a house and drove a flash car. As she led Mr. Right towards the exit, Darlene made a mental note to get the eggs defrosted and began to choose flowers for the wedding reception. Turning her to face him her eyes searched his rugged face for a sign but was lost in the deep oceans of his blue eyes. After a brief pause, she remembered to ask "Sorry, what's your name?".

Re: Romance novel consequences

I thought the first attempt wasn't too bad...but then again I'm no expert in that genre.
