Re: X-Factor 2010

I am so annoyed...she's still in the competition even if she forgot the words every single time she sings...

I like Treyc even though she wasn't charismatic...they can't honestly continue like this...

According to the Daily Wail, Katie would have gone if not for Cheryl's refusal to vote. Treyc got three times as many votes as Miss Teen-Drama-Queen.

but people won't watch it for Treyc (who was boring beyond belief, and could only really shout, not sing) but we're all waiting to see katie totally loose it live on air.

Re: X-Factor 2010

Simon deserves having lost most of his bands. He didn't even give most of the probably more original bands (like some of the girl-bands) any chance to succeed. Instead he puts together a bunch of scarecrows.

Katie should have gone. She's starting to annoy me. Treyc should've been doing more of the stuff like the Purple Rain cover, which was amazing. Or something Tina Turner like would've been good I reckon. But hey, she's gone.... moving on.

Can't wait for Katie to loose it and hopefully leave X Factor this week.

For the others, I strongly believe that Rebecca and Matt will be in the final. Cher is good, but she's often enough pulling this "attitude" face (that the others call the "swag"), which is getting on my nerves now.

Ah well.... we shall wait and see. fingers crossed.

Re: X-Factor 2010

OMG!!!!!! I can't wait for Katie to get voted out, she is sooooooooo irritating with her constant dramas.( beautiful girl though) Chris Moyles on radio 1 is on a mission to get Wagner to win by begging all his listeners to vote for him. He hates the fact that the show is obviously 'fixed' and also the fact that the winner takes the Christmas no.1

Rebecca did sing well on Saturday, but Adele sings this song so beautifully that I'm afraid she can't be bettered.

Loved Matt- but was hiding behind a cushion each time he went for the high notes, just incase he didn't make them.

Double eviction this week-Go Katie!!!!!!

Because it turns out as a popularity poll voted for by a huge cross section, the bland will always win (it always has up until now)
Simon doesn't want originality - he wants something that he can sell to the uncultured. He has needs a boy band so one dimension will win. He really wanted JLS last year
Cher will be second. She could be a goldmine for two or three years
Rebecca can't win- another black chick belting out the same sort of songs as Leona L and A Burke is going to canibalise the revenue stream.
Matt is just like millions of pub sing songwriters - expected he hasn't written anything. He has nothing that differentiates him from 100s of other. Bad new for those who want him to win - Cowell will fins him un marketable!
Cowell doesn't give a monkeys about their longevity. He makes the money of the first single , and the show

It's a complete fix and shoe in - enjoy it as entertainment ... but it's not about talent

Re: X-Factor 2010

So I went to prague and missed the showed, came back on Wednesday to see that my lovely husband had recorded them! People are starting to get sick of Wagner going through really...
I loved Matt, he was so great, he made me cry!!!
Treyc, I won't miss, great voice but absolutely no passion and was pretty boring...Katie I do like, yes not a great voice but damn is she better than Cher with the "swag" I want to punch her LOL...
I jsut hope Wagner leaves for the love of PETE!

I would have totally agreed with you a couple of years ago but now that Mr Cowell has seen the long(ish) term success of Leona Lweis & Alexandra Burke and has seen how much more money he can make with "real" talent rather than one hit wonders I think he is making more of an effort to make proper careers for the winners.

I wonder what he saw in Joe McEldery last year if it's all just a setup..... I liked him and his voice, but that was about it. He didn't really sell anything, did he? So, I doubt that it's all just a complete fix by Simon and his media gangsters.

But I would absolutely dread to see One Direction win.... Rebecca, I think she is remarkable and will be great to market for her personality and her original voice.

Joe was a cutey that he thought all the girlies would think was the next Mark Owen, so he could milk the hormonal teenage market

Unfortunately he came out as bowling from the pavilion end just before he release his LP ... like that was a great surprise. And his music style has no appeal to the Gay male market

Alexandra Burke - three hits perhaps. Leona Lewis is just about to slip of the media radar as she is seen as being so boring and risk adverse ... She made it on the back of singing on Snow Patrol song. And possibly not as well as Snow Patrol! She was that years "Matt"

Surprise to who? It was obvious from the first time he was on TV that he was as gay as Christmas. I think Joe may have been the last to know

Re: X-Factor 2010

Not that I am really into either of theirs music but Ms Lewis has multi-platinum selling ablbums, 3 Grammy award nominations and was proclaimed "Top New Artist" by Billbard in 2008. The song you say she made it on came after she had been No 1 in over 30 countries with Bleeding Love & 2 years after she won the X-Factor so I think she was rather well known before Run was released. She is currently working on her 3rd album with some of the best producres in the States (thanks google ).

Ms Burke has a 3.5 million quid 5 album deal with Epic records in the states whether she has the longevity to make them all remains to be seen.

Its a great song and I think Leona Lewis absolutely butchered Run in my opinion! Have a listen at how fantastic the original by Snow Patrol is. The guitars on the chorus are simply simply awesome...
