Re: X-Factor 2010

I hope they bring back Gamu!
And I do like Storm, he reminds me a bit of Steve Perry from Journey? His voice is melodic and nice, OK not a "great" singer, but he is easy to listen to. I would buy his CD, and let's face it, he seems like a nice guy.
My vote is on Matt though, he moves me

I'm a bit disappointed with Dannii that neither Karl Brown nor Marlon McKenzie made it through. I thought they both had qualities that "ticked all the boxes" pretty much. On the other hand, I think it will be fantastic to watch Nicolo and I've already admitted to really liking Matt Cardle. I think that Aiden Grimshaw could have been left out in favor of either Karl or Marlon.

Think Dannii has lost her marbles! I really liked Paije as well. Although will be rooting for the good ol Essex boy Matt

As for the groups they were never gonna throw the 2 groups that were put together by them.

Everyone 'back home' seems to really rate Cher but she drives me nuts with that face pulling she does when she does her thing.

But as always great entertainment and had me sniveling into my tissue as they were all being told.

Re: X-Factor 2010

Paije? Sorry, but I think Dannii got her choices absolutely spot on. Paije is not commercial. Teenage girls will put posters of Diva Nic, Aidan and Matt up, not Paije. His voice is great but not current. Marlon and Karl are boring imho.

I am disappointed in Cheryl's choice of Katie Waissel. What a drama queen. Louie's choices werent surprising. Most of that group were train wrecks anyway.

AND SIMON!!!!! Knocked out my favourite group, the Reason. booooo...no more eye candy for the live shows.

Matt to win!

Maybe he figures that since Taylor Lautner is now 18, all of the soccer moms need some youngins to ogle? All those boys in "1 Direction" are really cute.

Re: X-Factor 2010

So the hot news in the UK is all about the so called twist on Saturday night........won't reveal if you haven't heard about it and don't want your fun spoiled

There has been uproar that Gamu was not picked by Cheryl but all over the news today is that her visa extension has been refused

Her Mothers Visa was refused. As a result , all dependant child Visas were void. Good old British outcry will see some MP step in and the Home Office wave a magic wand.

She is good but I think Rebecca's miles better.

Am I missing the point? Her mum claimed benefits she was never entitled to according to immigration rules, so they should rightly be deported - not sure what the uproar and fuss has been all about. Silly bints.

No you are not, I do think that if her mom has broken rules then there is reason to get special treatment! This is why foreigners get a bad name! Still I can't help but feel sorry for the girl

Bloody foreigners claiming all sorts of benefits...whatever next.

That would never happen in Switzerland. Oh no.

Re: X-Factor 2010

I have just caught up with last weeks X factor which I recorded while I was away working in the uk.

I'm happy with the chosen 12, except the dozy blonde drama queen. Can't wait to see her get voted out! Everyone I've spoken to at home loves Matt. I'm a bit worried he'll become a predictable winner. Simon is desperate for his boyband to win this year. It would be a sin, I smile when I see Matt, he looks like he's off to work with the clothes he wears, just adorable.

Is Cheryl Cole just THE nicest person? she is so tortured when she has to give bad news and shatter their dreams, I cried with her, it was so sad to see their little faces. She is so beautiful, but doesn't feel the need to stand up and dance in her seat like Nicola did several times, as if to say to everyone watching " look at me" Yuck! Give me Cheryl every time, It's no wonder girls as well as guys like her.

Oh, I can't stand Sharon Osborne - Now there's a diva! I bet she's evil. Poor Danny being on the receiving end of that.

Personally I can't abide Ms Cole. She is playing the part, watch her eyes the emotion she is "feeling" never quite manages to reach them.
